Dieteic Culture on Bee Products in China

摘要 China has some five bees of having economic value, of the m the Chinese bee(Apis cerana cerana Fabicius)is Widely dist ributed with a strain of strong adaptability and producing higher honey. After 1 896 the black bee and the Caucasu s bee (Apis mellifera caucasica Gorb)are introduced from R ussia;and in 1912 Italian bee (Apis msllifera ligustica Spinola) come in from America. In 1895 when Japan invaded and occupied Taiwan, the Italian bee (Apis mellifera ligustica Spinola)was brought in the southern area of Taiwan.Basrd on the five kinds of original Chinese bees and three kinds of bees introduced from abroad have produced a gre at deal bees products include the Honty, Royal Jelly,Bee-Pollen,etc.,making Chin a’s dietetic culture bright and colourful. Honey wine originated from the King Zhou You’s court feast in 780BC.There is a h oney w ine without through brewage recorded in "The Songs of the South.Calling Back th e Spirit of the Dead"in 278BC,In Tang Dynasty Mr Sun Simiao(581-682AD)has writ ten the method of natural fermentation not using yeast for making honey wine;and there was an account of way of making honey wine with yeast by Su Shi in "The Mo Zhuang Man Lu"by Zhang Bangji in the Southern Song Dynasty. At present, China has come to first larger Country for Keeping bees in the world with rich honey resources and has produced many brand-name honey wine including the Chinese honey wine in Shandong Province and the Guifei wine made in Hangzho u Ciey,which are sole well in home and abroad and received good comments from th e comsumers.
