院系资料室面向全校开放的现状及建议

Accessibility of Faculty Reference Rooms to All Faculty of the University:Status Quo and Suggestions

采用问卷调查法对浙江省部分高校院系资料室的工作现状进行调查,结果显示:多数资料室为院系自行管理,院系资料室的管理手段相对落后,人员编制偏紧,面向全校开放的情况不容乐观。为了促使院系资料室早日面向全校开放,发挥资料室在教学及科研中的作用,需要进一步明确资料室的归属,加强资料室的现代化建设,提高资料员的专业素质。

The present study is based on a questionnaire investigation into the status quo of faculty reference rooms in several colleges and universities in Zhejiang province. Findings of the survey show that most of these reference rooms are managed by faculties alone, with poor ways and few librarians, and can hardly be accessible to teachers from other schools/departments. In order to make faculty reference rooms accessible to all and maximize their roles in contributing to teaching and research, we need to clarify the university＇ s own-ership of all the faculty reference rooms on campus, to upgrade the facilities of reference rooms and to improve the librarians＇professional qualification.
