Intertextuality Theory: the Application of Structural Metaphor in the Text

结构隐喻对文本构建方式具有深刻的影响。而在互文理论下,任何文本之间都是相互指涉,相互关联,相互渗透的。文章拟从互文理论的角度探讨结构隐喻在文本中运用的体现方式。

Structural metaphor is defined as a conceptional construction through a given concept, which shows not only the structural correspondence between the two concepts, but also the invasion of certain words in the given concept into the new one. Hence, structural metaphor has a profound influence on a text construction. Under the intertextuality theory, any texts are interassociated. This paper studies how structural metaphor is applied in the text under the intertextuality theory.
