目前理论界对效率与公平关系的探讨存在着种种含混与曲解,亟需理论上予以澄清。对漠视"兼顾公平"、非难"效率优先"的倾向需要从认识论上揭示其根源;当前"兼顾公平"具有更大的紧迫性,但"效率优先"仍然具有时效性;建设社会主义和谐社会必须科学处理好效率与公平关系:在加速经济发展的同时,综合运用经济、法律、行政、文化等多种手段构建效率与公平关系的和谐机制,努力实现社会公平。

There are all kinds of confusion and misunderstanding in exploring the relationship between efficiency and fairness in current theoretical circle, which is urgent to be clarified theoretically. The tendency of neglecting “proper attention to fairness” and reproaching “efficiency first” should be revealed the root cognitively. “Proper attention to fairness” has greater urgency, but “efficiency first” remains effective. To construct a socialistic harmonious society, it is necessary to deal with the relationship between efficiency and fairness, to make acceleration in the economic development, to apply economic, legal, political and cultural methods comprehensively to construct a harmonious mechanism between efficiency and fairness to realize social fairness
