Difficult Positions and Breakthrough: On the Development of Chinese Adult Higher Education from the Perspective of Equity

我国成人高等教育面临着公平与发展两方面的困境与挑战。现实和理论都要求我国政府必须回答如何看待公平和发展成人高等教育的问题。发展我国成人高等教育并坚持其公平性具有重要的意义与价值。实现我国成人高等教育最大限度的公平之关键是要明确政府的责任,政府应当而且必须成为公平发展成人高等教育的保证者。

Chinese adult higher education faces two aspects difficult positions and the challenge which comes from equity and development. The reality and the theory all request our government to have to reply how regards the principle of equity and develops the adult higher education question. Developing Chinese adult higher education and sticking to the principle of equity has important significance and value. To realize the equity of adult higher education maximally, the key is to make clear the responsibihty of the government. The government should and must be a guarantor in developing of adult higher education equitably.
