Rub between the moving and stationary Rarts is a kind of fault occurring frequently on the rotating machinery. Both force and heat impacts act on the rotor simultaneously when rub fault occurs.Due to the influence differecce of force impact and heat impact,rub symptoms of different units and different locations with different fault degrees are different,sometimes may be even totally different. The paper combining with the actual examples,analyzes and sums up the complex symptoms of rub faults. It is useful for the fault diagnosis and handling of large rotating machinery.
