Design and application of CNC system based on CamSoft software

为了深入研究数控系统的开放性和通用性,在分析了开放式数控系统原理的基础上,设计了一种基于"PC+运动控制器"的开放式数控系统实验台.该系统是以Windows XP为开发平台,采用美国CamSoft公司的CNC Professional软件作为数控系统的开发软件、美国Galil公司的DMC-1832型运动控制卡完成实时控制功能的,再加上华中数控实验台本体部分,充分体现了硬件和软件的开放性.研究表明,该设计具有十分人性化和个性化的用户操作界面,是可以取代传统数控系统的开放式数控系统.

This paper which based on analyzing the principle of the open CNC system had designed a kind of open CNC system model which is based on ＂PC＋motion controller＂. This system use Windows XP for the development platform, use the CNC Professional which is made by CamSoft Corporation for the development software of the CNC system, and use the DMC-1832 motion controller which is made by Galil Motion Control Inc for the real time motion control, and add the CNC system experimental table which is produced by HuaZhong CNC Inc, and it incarnates the openness of both hardware and software. The author use the CNC Professional had designed a personalized and humanity user interface, and add DMC-1832 motion controller had formed a type of integrated open CNC system which can instead of the traditional CNC system. The effect of such pushing for training manpower specialized in CNC will be very great, and it will play a Facilitating role for the development of China＇s machine tool industry.
