再议廪君与向王

A Re-interpretation of Lin Jun and King Xiang

在关于土家族历史文化的研究中,人们通常将古神话中的廪君和民间祭祀的向王合二而一,作为土家族始祖。本文对此说再次提出异议,从新搜求的资料中,归纳出廪君之外的向王和向王天子另有其历史原型与文化内涵,不应混同。并就廪君与盐水神女的爱情纠葛,从巫文化视角作了新的解读。

In the study of Tujia historical culture, people often merge the mythological Lin Jun and the folk sacrifice King Xiang into one, and regard Him as the forefather of Tujia people. This essay puts forward the view that the two should not be confused from some latest materials and points out that there are still other historical archetypes and cultural implications about King Xiang beyond Lin Jun. Meawhile, the essay makes an original interpretation of the love entanglement between Lin Jun and the Godess Yanshui from the perspective of witch culture.
