如何延续历史文脉、发挥城市原有的地域特色,构筑城市新景观,是当今城市建设中一个重要的问题。本项目以常熟方塔园及商业、景观设计为例,着重探讨了如何将古迹、景观、商业融为一体,并赋予了新的内涵,构筑以观光休闲为主要方式的商业区,以顺应现代城市居民新的生活方式的需要。

In the city development of the present time, it is very important to consider how to continue the history, display the regional original characteristics and construct the new city landscape. Taking Changshu Fangta Garden, the business area and landscape design for example, this project empathically discusses how to merge historical site, landscape and business into a whole, and suggests that a business area mainly for sightseeing and leisure be constructed to meet with the modem life of the townsman.
