Decoration of Jade Ware in Pre-Qin Days

本文展开了对除文化内涵外,玉器外部构成是否具有自身表现空间的探讨,提出玉器不仅是"神、王、君"的品格象征,也是表现生活的艺术手段。玉器的装饰性,包括装饰功能、审美特征,是在玉器文化内涵和外部构成形式双重作用下形成的,因而也受到了两者的交互影响。从文化学和设计学结合的角度来看,先秦玉器装饰具有综合的个性——时代风格。

The paper approaches the subject whether the exterior composition of jade has its own expression without the interior culture connotation of jade. Jade ware is not only the moral symbol of “god, king, monarch”, but also the art expression of life. The decoration of jade ware, including the decoration function and the aesthetic characteristic, is formed under the double efforts of the interior culture and exterior composition in jade ware. Therefore it has been influenced by the interaction of two factors. Viewed from the combination of culture and design, the decoration of jade ware in pre-Qin days has a comprehensive characteristic reflecting the age style.
