To tackle the increasing pressure of employment for vocational graduates, vocational colleges must reform their teaching methodology via setting up the concept of enhancing students＇ abilities. As an attempt to research new ideas and approaches in higher vocational education, the paper introduces a new ability - oriented teachingmethodology of mock modem commercial companies in the vocational education, as well as the existent problems and their countermeasyres in its application. This essay aims to demonstrate ways to enhance vocational students＇ practical competence through the application of the mock modem company teaching methodology.
