建设社会主义新农村,是党中央为统筹城乡发展、解决"三农"问题而采取的一项重大举措,它深刻体现了贯彻落实科学发展观与构建社会主义和谐社会的时代特征和要求,集中代表了亿万农民群众的强烈愿望和根本利益。经济社会发展相对落后的农村贫困地区应结合自身实际,大力进行扶贫开发,努力缩小农村内部收入差距,促使农民走上共同富裕的发展道路,促进农村社会和谐,推进农村全面小康和现代化建设进程。

Constructing new village of socialism is a great action to orchestrate the city and countryside development and resolve the ＂three agricultures＂ problem. Its embodies the implementation of science development view by setting up the ages characteristic and request of the socialism diapason society, concentrating to represent hundred millions of farmers＇ strong wishes and basic benefits. The village which economy is underdeveloped should be based on its own situation to make full use of the development program of ＂Supporting the Poverty＂, work hard to shorten the rural internal income margin, urge farmers to make a movement to the wealthy development road, promote community harmony in villages, and push forward the construction of the well-being and modernized villages.
