The authors analyzed the phenomena of honor and shame occurred to the sports area in the social transition period, and drew the following conclusions： in the social transition period, the phenomena of ＂shame＂ in the sports area are the comprehensive reflection of causes in various aspects such as social economy, system and culture as well as individual making; the combination of a correct view on sports honor and shame and sports legal systems is an effective way to standardize sports behaviors; establishing a correct view on sports honor and shame will deepen the influence of Chinese sports spirit, and make a contribution to the great renaissance of the Chinese nation.
