西洋南瓜和中国南瓜引种栽培试验

Introduction of Pumpkin Cultivars Cucurbita maxima and Cucurbita moschata

在江苏南京地区对引种的5个西洋南瓜和6个中国南瓜品种进行了春秋两季栽培,结果表明:万寿、绿彩2002、金彩2002、富贵甜栗、镇江青板栗等5个西洋南瓜品种适宜春季栽培,栽培过程中宜采用适宜的整枝方式。中国南瓜品种中蜜本南瓜座果率高,品质好,产量高,抗病虫,春秋两季均可栽培;黄狼南瓜、徐—1、徐—2、盐—1、宁—1等5个品种适宜春季粗放栽培,兼食南瓜花和南瓜茎。

11 cultivars of pumpkin were planted in spring and autumn in Nanjing Jiangsu province respectively, the results respected that：five varieties of C. maxima were fit for cultivating in spring and should be stem-regulated;the variety of C. moschata Miben was of high frequency and fruitbearing, high quality and fruits yield, was resistant to several kinds of disease and insects, it is fit for cultivating in both spring and autumn. Other varieties of C. moschata were fit for spring-cultivating.
