摘要
在分析和比较反相型VCO(压控振荡器)、差分对型VCO、LC型VCO工作原理和特点的基础上,综合差分对型和LC型VCO的优点,设计了一种全差分结构的LC型VCO(使用键合线等效电感及附加COMS电容阵列作为LC元件),具有较高的电源噪声和衬底噪声抑制能力。仿真结果表明,VCO工作频率范围1.98 GHz^2.06 GHz,相位噪声-89 dBc/Hz。本VCO适合于低功耗设计。
This paper analyzes and compares the operation principle and characteristic of the opposite model VCO, difference model VCO and LC model VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator). Then, according to the advantages of difference model VCO and LC model VCO, it designs a whole difference LC model VCO ( annexed an arrangement of COMS capacitance), it has higher control ability for power noise and basic noise. The simulation results that the frequency ranging of VCO operation is between 1.98 GHz to 2.06 GHz ; phase noise is - 89 dBc@ 100 kHz. And the VCO can be used to the less power-wasting design in the paper.
