In the West, the research on psychology of voting behavior has a history of over sixty years. The early research emphasized the rate of Electorate＇s voting and the decision of Electorate＇ s voting. After the 1970s, research focuses on exploring how candidate＇s psychological characteristics influence electorate＇s voting tendency, where an inclination to put candidate and voter into consideration emerges.
