Songyu who is the earliest ancestor in Chinese literature, running neck and neck with Quyuan, but more effective, is a initiative master and thinker. Songyu absorbed excellently cultural nutrition from different fields ,and in his works, you can see his thoughts of harmony everywhere, such as basing on the people, administrating by morality, cherishing and appointing talents, emphasizing education, reusing law, balancing the relationship between human beings and the nature, caring for farmers and paying much attention to agriculture ,etc. In order to evaluate Songyu just, we should literate our thoughts, insist on historical materialism, break the limitation of extreme ＂zuo＂ thoughts, clear away some old bias.
