摘要
分析了新型静止无功发生器(ASVG)装置中可能出现的非正常运行状态及应采取的GTO保护措施,包括:大功率门极可关断晶闸管(GTO)门极驱动器设计,以实现GTO的正确开通及关断,并提出GTO串联运行时门极驱动器的设计要求;GTO的过电压保护,包括关断过电压保护、瞬态浪涌过电压保护及直流侧过电压保护;GTO的过电流保护,包括负载过电流保护、ASGV输出侧短路保护、逆变器桥臂直通保护。针对情况最严重的桥臂直通短路,设计了一种环流过电流保护,并给出了试验结果。在此基础上,以±300kvarASVG为例,给出了分级动作的装置整体保护方案。±300kvarASVG装置的试运行验证了作者所给出各种保护方案的可行性及正确性。
? The static var generator based on voltage sourced GTO inverter has entered the practical application stage due to the availability of high power gate turn off (GTO) thyristors. The reliability of advanced static var generator(ASVG) installation depends on the safe operation of GTOs. GTO protection scheme for ASVG installation under abnormal operations is analyzed in this paper, including the design of GTO gate drive circuit, GTO overvoltage protection and GTO overcurrent protection. A new GTO overcurrent protection scheme called current loop overcurrent protection which can greatly improve the reliability of ASVG installation is given in this paper. A multi level activating overvoltage and overcurrent protection scheme is proposed for ASVG installation which has been implemented in a ±300 kvar ASVG installation.
