汪道昆是明清文学史上备受争议的人物,对他的评价向来褒贬不一,甚至走向两个极端。汪道昆生前享誉日隆,死后则非议蜂起,反差巨大。我们应该给予汪道昆怎样的历史定位?他到底是久被埋没的大家,或只是光耀一时的过客?他开创了怎样的文学风气,或只是把持了暂时的学术话语?作为文学史上较为特殊的个案,围绕汪道昆出现的种种争议,为我们辨章明清以降的学术流变,提供了十分难得的范本。

Wang Dao-kun, a scholar living in the Ming Dynasty, is a man of dispute. The evaluations about him usually go to two extremes. Since 1930s, the related study of him has reached a new level. The main purpose of this paper is to organize the relevant materials about him with the aim of providing information on the current research.
