网格为泛在图书馆的构建提供了基础条件。文章通过介绍国外两个具有代表性的基于网格构建泛在图书馆的实例，分析了网格和数字图书馆结合的优势以及所面临的挑战，为国内基于网格技术在一定的地域或领域范围内构建泛在图书馆环境提供借鉴。

Grid provides an infrastcture of ubiquitous libraries. The paper introduces two gridbased ubiquitous library prototypes, and analyzes the strengths and challenges of the integration of grid and digital library technologies, aiming to provide inspiration for construction of the gridbased ubiquitous libraries in certain geographical aras or in certain environment.
