State of arts of vision-based techniques for vehicle detection

摘要 基于视觉的车辆检测技术应用于智能车辆,能够为人们行车安全提供技术保障,有着广阔的研究和应用前景。本文首先回顾了基于视觉的智能车辆的研究历史,介绍了世界主要国家的智能车辆研究发展所取得的成就。然后,本文对当前车辆辅助驾驶系统中的基于视觉的车辆检测技术进行了总结,着重分析了基于视觉车辆检测技术存在的难点,最后结合这些技术难点给出了基于视觉车辆检测技术研究的发展方向。 Technologies of using vision to detect vehicle applied on intelligent vehicles can provide technical guarantee for safe driving and have great prospects in research and application. The paper presents a review of recent vision-based intelligent vehicle research and the achievements attained worldwide. Then we make a conclusion about vision-based vehicle detection techniques in driver assistance systems and analyze the key techniques of detecting vehicle. Finally, directions for future research based on these techniques are proposed.
