The foUowing paper introduces the design of frame structure of transformer substation from the aspects of foundation, structural plane, stair, beam and column, discusses its design principles and emphases, and points out that designers should be familiar with the composi- tion of local architectural materials, the condition of goods supply, and local accepted practices, in order to design economic and rational architectural structure.
