This paper expounds the principle of limited expansion and analyzes the coordinated development law of the limited expansion rate and the intensity of the concrete. In addition, the scope where the expansive concrete should be used and the problem which should be paid attention to in the design and the construction is put forward, gives a reference to research and restrict the function of expansion concrete.
