Current Situation and Prospect of Chinese Petrochemical Industry

目前中国的主要石化产品的生产能力居世界前列,但石化产业结构还存在着诸多问题。因此,结构调整的方向应是上游发展大企业,下游发展小企业,上游大企业要积极支持下游中小企业的发展。石化行业垄断势力的消除,必须充分权衡产业安全与产业效率。同时,应积极引导化工园区的建设。

At present, China＇s producing capacity of main petrochemical products ranks front in the world, but many problems still exist in the industrial structure. This puts forward the orientation of structural adjustment that developing large scale enterprises in upstream and small sized enterprises in downstream; and upstream enterprises should actively support the development of medium and small sized enterprises in downstream. The elimination of monopolistic power in petrochemical industry must balance the security and efficiency of the industry. Meanwhile, the construction of chemical industrial parks should be guided actively.
