对能改善铸造性能及提高机械性能的稀土最佳加入量作了试验研究。对比了稀土孕育前后活塞环的各项性能指标。由于性能明显提高,己在生产中获得应用。
The writer has made a series of tests and research into the mechanism of the optimum amount of rare earth added to cast iron which can improve the casting properties and raise its mechanical properties. Some property quota have been compared between the piston ring modified with rare earth and that not modified. Due to its advanced properties, this kind of material has been put into production.
