Based on the teaching concept advocated in the new standard of the Chemistry course in middle schools, this paper attempts to discuss the application of multimedia in chemistry teaching from the perspectives of educational information resource and integration of information technology with the course of chemistry, in order to optimize chemical classroom teaching and raise students＂ chemical attainment.
