用条带装饰技术研究乙基纤维素溶致液晶织构

摘要 本文将乙基纤维素(简称EC)-乙酸、EC-间甲酚溶液膜在液晶态下长时间静置(即所谓“退火”),在非取向膜中得到条带装饰的丝状向列织构,用偏光显微镜观察到向错强度S=1/2和-1/2的线头,以及Neel微区壁.在取向膜中直接观察到锯齿形微纤的形态.这些实验结果与热致液晶聚芳酯类似,说明EC溶致液晶在一定条件下存在向列态. Annealing' (i. e. treatment in liquid crystalline temperature region) studies of ethyl cellulose (EC)- acetic acid and EC - m - cresol solution films in mesophase were reported. In unoriented film, the nematic thread texture decorated by banded texture was obtained. The thread heads with disclination strength S = 1/2 and S = - 1/2 and Neel domain wall were observed by polarized microscopy. In oriented film, fibrils with zigzag form were observed directly in bands. These results were similar to the observation on thermotropic liquid crystalline polyester. They implied that nematic phase could present under some condition (e. g. stress ) on lyotropic EC, although normal textare of EC is cholesterlc fingerprint texture.
