《矛盾论》为我们正确认识和处理中国特色社会主义发展过程中的矛盾和问题提供了科学的思想方法和工作方法。坚持重点论和两点论相统一的法则,贯彻科学发展理念,促进经济社会全面发展;坚持具体地分析具体矛盾的法则,用不同质的方法解决不同质的矛盾;坚持矛盾是相互转化的法则,积极化解矛盾冲突和妥善处置群体事件,营造和谐稳定的社会环境。

On Contradiction provides us with scientific ideological and practical approaches to correctly recognize and deal with contradictions and problems in the process of building up socialism with Chinese characteristics. We should adhere to the combination of focal-points doctrine and the doctrine that everything that has two aspects and implement scientific development view so as to promote the economic growth in an all-round way. We should adhere to the discipline that specific contradictions should be analyzed in a concrete way so as to solve contradictions of different qualities with different approaches. We should also adhere to the discipline of transitions of contradictions to digest conflicts and contradictions in an active way and properly cope with group conflicts so as to establish a stable and harmonious environment.
