模因传播与归化异化翻译的关系

模因论是解释文化进化规律的新理论,据此Chesterman提出了翻译模因进化和形成规律的翻译模因论。翻译模因理论认为,模因的传播过程对翻译构成影响。由归化翻译和异化翻译与模因传播的关系得出:归化翻译通过在本国文化中寻找相似的模因有助于读者理解异域模因,而忠实复制源语文化综合体的异化翻译是模因传播的要求与趋势。。

Memetics is a new theory for interpreting cultural evolution. Based on this theory translation memetics was proposed by Chesterman which demonstrates the evolution and formation of translation .memes. On the basis of translation memetics the effect of the transmission of memes on the practice of translation is discussed, and the relationship between alienation, domestication and the transmitting of meme is analyzed. Domesticating translation through finding similar memes the target culture is helpful to the reader in understanding means of an alien culture,reduplicating an imperative way to copy the meme, while alienating translation is the trend of translation for the sake of faithfully copying the meme complex of the original culture.
