鲜卑族是北方古代少数民族之一,历史上建立过较强大的北魏政权。它在北方地区能够建立北魏政权,并且强盛一世,主要是依靠他们原有的较发达的畜牧业以及入主中原以后接受汉族发达的农业经济和手工业。本文以较详实历史记载、出土文物,试述了鲜卑族发达的畜牧业经济以及农业的兴起和手工业的发展。

Xianbei was one of ancient northern minorities, and founded North Wie Regime in history. The reason for its founding and prosperity is that they held the original husbandry and the development of agricultural economy and handcraft adopted from Han majority after inhabiting in mainland. The essay illustrates the rising of the developed husbandry, the emerging of agriculture and handcraft of Xianbei.
