清季张之洞调和汉学和宋学的努力

Zhang Zhi-dong's effort to reconcile the Han school of classical philology and the Song school in the late Qing Dynasty

晚清时代的学术门户之见日益明显,这一方面是由于社会环境造成的,另一方面则是学术自身发展而导致的,又加之内忧外患,统治者在学术上不得不主张"经世致用",这使得清代的汉学与宋学之争不得不服从政治的需要而转向调和。作为封疆大吏的张之洞,在对清季教育改革的第一个时期就提出了"通经致用",为达此目的,他主张调和汉学与宋学之间的矛盾。

The sectarian bias of the academic circles in the Late Qing Dynasty was obvious, on the one hand it resulted from environment, on the other by the academy itself developed. In the Late Qing Dynasty ,in addition the difficulties domestic and abroad , rulers had to insist in＂ mastering classics and applying it in practice＂ in acade- my, Which made the debate between the Han school of classical philology and the Song school had to obey politics and changed to been reconciled . As general ,Zhang Zhi -dong reconciled the Han school of classical philology and the Song school in order to prove ＂mastering classics and applying it in practice＂ in the first period of educational reformation in the Late Qing Dynasty.
