From the ancient times Chinese＇s historical development of view that Xu Shen＇stheory of six eharaeters holds the very important status in the Chinese character history indeed. However, there are still many questions. How the definition of pictophonetic characters work as the correct understanding, namely should immediately obtain the unanimous understanding. This article focuses on a theory, which has the value and the strength very much, restores the definition of pictophonetic characters to the original condition as 1800 years ago, thus for it synopsis, the elaboration, the proposal, to obtain the comprehensive consensus as soon as possible.
