山东临朐-昌乐地区临朐群玄武岩是新生代火山活动产生的大陆溢流玄武岩,该区玄武岩以高镁、钙,低钾、钠为特征,属于碱性玄武岩系列。玄武岩来源于上地幔,内有大量橄榄岩包体,其形成机制是上地幔部分熔融作用。

Linqu-group basah is the new generation of continental flood basahs in Linqu Changle district Shandong Province. It is an alkaline basalt series area with high magnesium, calcium, low potassium, sodium features. Basahs come from the upper mantie, a large quantity of olive xenoliths, and the fomlation mechanism of partial melting of mantle.
