A New Mobility Management Strategy

针对基于移动交换中心记录被叫位置的Ｔ门限策略未考虑主叫亦有可能运动这一问题，改进了分析模型。

A cache scheme is proposed to reduce the location tracking cost. The idea is to store the lo- cation of frequently accessed portables in a local database , i. e. , a cache, within, an MSC. When a call comes , the locatioa of the portable called is identified in the cache so that it is unnecessary to send the query message to the HLR. Yibing Lin proposed a T-threshold location cache scheme , but , in his analysis he did not take the mobility of the callers into account. An improved model that takes the mo- bility of callers into consideration is given and a new cache method is presented. lt is proved that the query cost with the new cache method is lower.
