摘要
谢天振教授虽然在1999年提出"文化意象"这一术语,并强调了其在翻译中的重要作用,但却并未将它和传统的意象进行对比,指出其差别,导致文化意象与传统意象的混淆,未能将"文化意象"更好的理论化。
Though Xie Tianzhen advanced ＂cultural images＂ and stressed its important role in translation, he did not compare it with traditional images and to point out their differences, resulting in confusion between the two so that cultural images were not theorized.
