By adopting technical economics research method, some factors that influence drilling efficiency of diamond wire-line drilling, such as rate of penetration, core run length, round-trip velocity and round-trip length are analyzed. Through understanding the influencing effect of these factors on drilling efficiency at different borehole depth conditions, the proper selection of drilling equipment, drilling tools and drilling methods for a drilling project can be guaranteed.
