哈密瓜风味小果型厚皮甜瓜新品种中甜2号的选育

Breeding of the Hami melon flavored and small fruited melon cultivar——Zhongtian No.2

中甜2号是适合我国西部露地及东部地区保护地栽培的的厚皮甜瓜优良品种。果实发育期30～35d,椭圆形果,单果重1.5～2.5kg,果皮金黄色,果肉橘红色,中心可溶性固形物含量14%～17%,口感脆甜,具哈密瓜的美味。2003年10月通过国家级甜瓜新品种鉴定;2006年获河南省科技进步二等奖。

Zhongtian No. 2 is a new variety of Cucumis melo. It is suitable for growing in open field in westem China and protected production in eastem China. The fruit matures 30-35 days from pollination. The fruit is oval shaped with golden skin and light red flesh. The soluble solids content is 14%-17%. The average fruit weights 1.5-2.5 kg. It has the taste of Hami melon. Zhongtian No. 2 is officially registered in October 2003 in China.
