大学理念是办好大学的思想精神和灵魂,校训、校风、教风、学风是大学精神的重要内容。坚持和发展"四个第一"(育人是办学第一使命、教师是办学第一资源、教学是教师第一天职、发展是办学第一要务)的办学理念,是当前办好办强大学的选择和追求。

The notion of a university is the ideology, spirit, and soul for running a university well. The university motto, teaching spirit, and learning spirit make the most part of the spirit of a university. Strongly holding and developing the ＂Four Firsts＂--fostering students for its first mission, teacher for its first sources, teaching for its first duty, and developing for its first responsibility--are the choice and pursuit for running the university well.
