The image of a cruel and violent murderer has been portrayed Black Cat. Analyzed from psychological perspective, the murderer＇s mad behaviors have such a psychological root as a setback of feminine personality. Traditional ideas of gender in the society restrict the man＇ s feminine qualities in his personality, which leads to his severe inner conflicts. Out of the hatred from jealousy, he mistreats and kills the black cat and his wife, and he is spiritually destroyed at last.
