摘要
从历时和认知的角度,通过对国外几种主要阅读模式的回顾与对比,阐述了图式理论对英语阅读教学的积极作用。并根据图式理论的原理指出阅读的实质是读者的背景知识和文本信息相互作用的过程,因此,教师应帮助学生构建并激活相关的图式。
The article, from the cognitive angles, first looks back and contrasts the three major English reading models and then explores the relationship of language and cognition. The nature of reading is an interactive process between the reader's background knowledge and the textual information in the light of schema theory. On the basis of schema, the reading teacher should give a hand to students to reconstruct and trigger the schema effectively.
