生态旅游作为一种新型旅游形式,是从国外引进并在中国逐步实践的。西藏,有着雪域高原独特的自然与人文景观,这也一直是西藏吸引中外游客的根本魅力所在。青藏铁路通车后,催生了西藏大众旅游时代的到来。由于西藏的生态环境十分脆弱,旅游景区承载力较为有限。目前西藏又希望通过发展旅游产业推动西藏经济社会全面发展。基于这些原因,西藏只有通过发展生态旅游,既可有效地保护生态环境,又能促进旅游产业及经济社会的可持续发展。

Eco-tourism is a new form of tourism which is imported from abroad and is practiced gradually in China. Tibet, with the snow-capped plateau unique natural and human landscape, has been attracting local and foreign tourists, which lie in the fundamental charm. After the opening of the Qinghai-Tibet railway, Tibet has access to a mass tourism . Since Tibet＇ s ecological environment is fragile, tourism attraction capacity is relatively limited. Tibet hopes to promote Tibet＇ s economic and social development through the development of the tourism industry. For these reasons, only through the development of eco-tourism, can Tibet effectively protect the ecological environment, and promote the tourism industry and the economic and social sustainable development.
