摘要
屠格涅夫长篇小说中的爱情具有独特的品格,它是社会性的,充满了悖论。一方面,它体现了爱情幸福与社会义务的一致性,同时又表现了两者的冲突;另一方面,屠格涅夫赞成小说主人公为了社会义务而"自我改造",但是他又强调了这种"改造"的不可能与反人性。
Love in Turgenev＇ s novels has unique personality, which is social and filled with antinomy. On one hand, it displays the consistency and conflicts between the happiness of love and social duty ; on the other hand, Turgenev approved of his characters ＂reforming＂ themselves for the sake of social obligation, but also he emphasized that this ＂reform＂ was impossible and inhuman .
