摘要
通过选取两种典型的预硬型塑料模具钢——P20钢与718钢,从切削力、刀具磨损、表面粗糙度等方面进行切削性能对比实验,来分析这类模具钢的加工特性。结果表明,这类材料属较难加工材料,这主要是由于钢中存在大量硬质点,且材料具有较高强度和硬度所致。
The machinability experiments of two kinds of typical steel P20 and 718 have been carried out to study on the cutting performance of the pre-hardened plastic-mould steel by cutting force, tool wear and surface roughness. The results show that the pre-hardened plastic-mould steel belongs to a little low machinability steel because of much hard inclusion existing in microstructure and its high strength and hardness.
