通过对陶渊明家庭人伦关系的考察,充分揭示以往陶渊明研究中那些习焉不察的情感世界:陶渊明的孤独同其缺乏异性的精神支持有相当关系。陶渊明诗中对古代列女的钦慕显示了他对女性价值的肯定。
