In order to carry on China's traditional distillation and brewing techniques by Kweichow Moutai,Shaaxi. Fen Chiew, and Luzhou Laoji, ao, classic representatives of the sauce, flavor, delicate-flavor, and strong-flavor liquors, have applied to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO) for the World Intangible Cultural Heritage listing. On September 23, China's top experts came to the Guangxi meeting room at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, and held a meeting to discuss the necessity of China's traditional distillation and brewing techniques to apply for the world heritage listing.
