摘要
以往言儒家必数经史子集,道人伦义理,人们尤钟孔子之仁义,孟子之心性,荀子之性恶,董子之君权神授,邵子之太极,周子之道德性命,二程之天理,陆子之心学,朱子之理气,王船山之行先知后,王守仁之知行合一……不免精于粗而忽于细,明于理而蔽于形。我以为儒家精奥在于儒家文化外形:求美,求善,求仁义;忧国,忧民,忧天下;重文,重礼,重气节;畏天,畏地,畏天命。
When we talked about Confucius before, we must mention Confucian classics, history of ancient Chinese library collection, philosophical works and literary works and say something about human relations and argumentation. People like focusing on Confucian benevolence Mencius disposition, Xun Zi's theory of vicious by nature. Dong Zi's theory of divine right of king, Shao Zi's taiji, Zhou Zi's morality and life, the two Cheng's heavenly principles, Lu Zi's met psychology, Zhu Zi's spirit and ma- terial. Wang chuanshan's knowledge came from practice and Wang Shouren's unity of knowledge and practice, etc. but in these arguments we ignored the details and emphasized too much the ideas of Confucians, while pay little attention on its shape. I think the essence of Confucius culture is based on the cultural contour. I think the essence of Confucius is based on the cultural contour: its pursuit of virtue, of honesty and benevolence; being contented about one's country; one's people and the whole world; emphasizing arts, ceremony and integrity; being afraid of heaven, earth and fate.
