Study of Relationship Between Railroads and Social Progress in Late Qing Dynasty

文章从近代中国铁路与近代中国社会观念的进步、新式人才的培养、民族资本主义的发展、近代物质文明的发展等方面进行了较全面的探讨,试图从宏观上绘出晚清社会进步与近代中国铁路关系的概貌,推动问题的研究。

The article makes a comprehensive study in the following aspects, namely, modern China＇s railroads and the progress in modern China＇s social sense, the cultivation of new talents, the development of national capitalism as well as modern material civilization. The article will present a macroscopic description of the relationship between late-Qing social progress and modern China＇s railroads so as to propel the study in the field.
