This paper describes the design of an asynchronous serial port expanded in embedded industrial control based on PXA255 processor under WinCE.It briefly introduces the serial port PXA255 and the asynchronous communication chip TL16C554.It gives a detailed design method by using TL16C554 to expand serial port,and gives the main schematic diagram and the realization under WinCE.
