叙述了当前方坯小方坯连铸生产中存在的一些不足，从炼钢、连铸设备、连铸及管理等方面提出了改进建议，以实现连铸生产优质高产高效的目标。

Some problems existing at present in small billet con-casting production are stated, and some improving measures in the fields of steelmaking, con-casting equipments, con-casting process and management are offered.
