柳宗元与杜甫几乎同时生活在唐代中叶,又一同在湖湘大地留下深刻的足迹。两位文豪相似的命运遭际,在潇湘山水的话语中共同流徜着忧国恤民、落拓思归的不尽情怀。

Both Liu Zongyuan and Du Fu lived in the middle period of Tang Dynasty nearly at the same time and left deep footmarks together in Hunan. These two literary giants＇similar vicissitudes reflected endless feelings of being concerned about their country and their people and of returning back while being in dire straits in Hunan cultural context.
